Girl with Chikungunya Fever

Date: 2014
Location: Bangalore – Karnataka

I was visited by a girl who had previously had chikungunya.[1] Symptoms of this disease include high fever, joint pain, and rash. The doctor had told her that all the symptoms would go away when she recovered. But while the fever and joint pain had disappeared, the rash was still there after three months. One of the dervishes of the Ṭarīqa, whose name is Fairūz, advised the girl to see me about her illness.

When I saw her, I introduced myself as a caliph of ḥaḍrat Shaikh Muḥammad al-Kasnazan. I also told her that all that I could do for her was to give her the pledge and teach her about the dhikrs of the Ṭarīqa, and, God willing, she would be cured by the spiritual power of the Shaikh. I read over water a dhikr that the Shaikh had taught me and gave the water to her. I also gave her another quantity of water into which I mixed sand from the shrine of ḥaḍrat Shaikh ʿAbd al-Karīm Shah al-Kasnazān. I asked her to collect the water after she washed her body with it and to throw it in a garden or a clean body of water, in order to properly dispose of the pure sand.

Two weeks later, this dervish came back to tell me that she had been totally cured of the rash and that her skin was back to normal due to the blessings of the Ṭarīqa. I have filmed her talking about this karāma.
