New Dhikr: Salat Ad-Durr

Our grand Shaikh (ṣallā Allah ʿalaihi wa sallam) has bestowed on our present Master Shaikh Shamsuldin Muḥammad Nahro al-Kasnazān the spiritual and blessed gift of “Ṣalāt ad-Dur”. Our present Shaikh has in trun granted us permission to recite this piece noble Qādirī blessing and light.

Obituary of Shaikh Muhammad al-Muhammad al-Kasnazan

With hearts full of submission to and acceptance of Allah’s decree, and with extreme sadness and great sorrow mixed with complete content and surrender to Allah’s indisputable will, Ṭarīqa ʿAlīyya Qādiriyya Kasnazāniyya announces the passing of its Master Shaikh Muḥammad al-Muḥammad al-Kasnazān al-Ḥusaynī may Allah sanctify his secrets, benefit us with his knowledge and favours, and confer on us his blessing and light. Allah Almighty has taken him to His presence after midnight on Saturday 4th/July/2020 CE, 13th/Dhū al-Qiʿda/1441 Hijri, 13th/al-Bayʿa/1495 Muḥammadī, in the USA where he was receiving medical treatment.

Addition to Wird Al-‘Asr

Ḥaḍrat Sayyid Shaikh Muḥammad al-Muḥammad al-Kasnazān al-Ḥusseinī (may Allah sanctify his secret) has instructed that 100 times of dhikr of “Lā ilāha illā Allah.” has been added to the end of the Wird al-ʿAṣr. He has described this addition as “the Victory Dhikr”.

Addition of Qur’anic Verses to the Daily Dhikrs

Due to the greatness and virtues of the Qur’an, ḥaḍrat Sayyid Shaikh Muḥammad al-Muḥammad al-Kasnazān al-Ḥusseinī (may Allah sanctify his secret) has instructed that the below noble verses are to be read once after every obligatory prayer or after the dhikrs that follow each obligatory prayer.

Two Temporary Dhikrs

Ḥaḍrat Sayyid Shaikh Muḥammad al-Muḥammad al-Kasnazān al-Ḥusseinī (may Allah sanctify his secret) has instructed that all dervishes should perform the following two (temporary) dhikrs: “Lā ilāha illā Allah” (100,000 times) and “Lā ilāha illā Allah Muḥammadun rasūlu Allah ṣallā Allah taʿālā ʿalaihi wa sallam” (135,000 times).

Resuming the Permanent Dhikrs

Ḥaḍrat Shaikh Muḥammad al-Muḥammad al-Kasnazān al-Ḥusseinī (may Allah sanctify his secret) has instructed that anyone who has completed the last two (temporary) dhikrs of “Lā ilāha illā Allah” and “Lā ilāha illā Allah, Muḥammadun rasūlu Allah, ṣallā Allah taʿālā ʿalaihi wa sallam” should resume performing the permanent dhikrs.

Ḥaḍrat Shaikh Muḥammad al-Muḥammad al-Kasnazan al-Ḥusseinī (may Allah sanctify his secret) has instructed that two (temporary) dhikrs should be performed, with their benefits being a present from Ḥaḍrat Shaikh Muḥammad al-Muḥammad al-Kasnazan al-Ḥusseinī to the greatest Prophet (ṣallā Allah ʿalaihi wa sallam).
