New Dhikr: Salat Ad-Durr

بِسْمِ اللَّـهِ الرَّحْمَـٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
In the name of Allah, the Gracious, the Merciful
اللهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلى سَيِّدِنا مُحَمَّدٍ الوَصْفِ والوَحْيِ والرِسالَةِ والحِكْمَةِ وعَلى آلِهِ وَصَحْبِهِ وسَلِّمْ تَسْليما
Allahumma ṣallī ʿalā sayyidinā Muḥammadi ’l‑waṣfi wal‑waḥyi war‑risālati wal‑ḥikmati waʿalā ‘ālihi waṣaḥbihi wasallim taslīmā (O Allah! Send prayer on our Master whose quality, revelation, message, and wisdom are most praised (Muḥammad), and on his lineage and companions, and salute him with a perfect salutation).

To: All khalīfas, murshids, and dervishes of the Takyas of Ṭarīqa Kasnazāniyya
As-salāmu ʿalaikum,
Whiffs of blessing and manifestations of light from the greatest Prophet, our master Muḥammad (ṣallā Allah ʿalaihi wa sallam), continue to come to our grand Master and illuminating light Sayyid Shaikh Sulṭān Khalīfa Muḥammad al-Muḥammad al-Kasnazān al-Ḥusseinī (may Allah sanctify his secret). His blessed breathes and divine gifts continue to flow to the dervishes of our blessed and great Ṭarīqa from the endless Muḥammadan light. Our grand Shaikh (may Allah sanctify his secret) has bestowed on our present Master Shaikh Shamsuldin Muḥammad Nahro al-Kasnazān the spiritual and blessed gift of “Ṣalāt ad-Dur”. Our present Shaikh has in trun granted us permission to recite this piece noble Qādirī blessing and light. It is provision for those seekers on the straight path and illumination in the hearts of those who love Allah’s beloved, our master Muḥammad (ṣallā Allah ʿalaihi wa sallam). This is its wording:
اللهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلى سَيِّدِنا مُحَمَّدٍ الدُرِّ الأنوَرِ، والياقوتِ الأبهَرِ، نورِ الله الأزهر، وسرِّ الله الأكبر، بعدَدِ ما في علمِكَ من العَدَد، بكُلِّ طرفةِ عينٍ من الأزل إلى الأبد، وعَلى آلِهِ وَصَحْبِهِ وسَلِّمْ تَسْليما
Allahumma ṣallī ʿalā sayyidinā Muḥammadin al‑durri al-anwar, wal‑yāqūti ’l‑abhar, nūri Allahi al-azhar, wa sirri Allahi al-Akbar, biʿadadi māfī ʿilmika mini ’l‑ʿadadi, bikulli ṭarfatin mina al-‘azali ilā al-‘abadi, waʿalā ʿālihi waṣaḥbihi wasallim taslīmā (O Allah! Send prayer on our Master Muḥammad, the brightest pearl, the most splendid ruby, the brightest light of Allah, the greatest secret of Allah, as many times as the numbers You know of, with every blink of an eye, from the begininng of time to the end of time, and on his lineage and companions, and salute him with a perfect salutation)
We encourage the followers of our Ṭarīqa to recite this divine gift and avail thmeselves of its benefits. It is to be read as follows:
- After every obligatory prayer
- After the Waṣfīyya Prayer when it is read after:
- Supplications
- Daily dhikrs
- Sessions of religious chanting
- Formal circles of dhikr
